Short History
The Microdermabrasion system was designed by Mattioli Engineering of Florence, Italy. Based on innovative design and invaluable experience gained over 20 years, the system can offer therapy to achieve smooth, glowing skin for everyone.
The simple design of the machine has been specifically aimed at the therapist who is highly qualified to carry out a wide range of treatments in the clinic on a routine basis, both safely and effectively. This system is widely used in Europe and has received FDA clearance in the United States.
Clinical Background
Chemical peeling and manual dermabrasion are traditional techniques for treating a wide variety of skin abnormalities. However, there are restrictions and difficulties associated with these common procedures since they can be painful and continuous treatment is not always possible.
Microdermabrasion is not painful and does not require pre-treatment or topical anesthesia.
The greatest benefit is that after treatment, you are able to leave the clinic with clean and fresh sparkling skin and body tone: a regeneration of the epidermal cell structure.
Safety and Sterilization
Your safety is very important to us, therefore the entire treatment is performed in a sterile environment.
All tools that are in contact with the treatment are either sterilizable or disposable.

Caring for the Treated Area
Cleansing
